Also, I have my server run through a 10Gbps Gigabit Switch to a Linksys EA4500 router. Like I said before, I need to reinstall PlexPy, but the logs were showing nothing before. Most of my files are 720p H264 MKV’s with 5.1 dts. I need to reinstall PlexPy, but my CPU and Memory never get that high when I’m transcoding.
PLEX REMOTE BUDDY INSTALL
Since these problems, I have done a fresh install of Windows 10, which didn’t help at all.įinally, last night I installed Plex on my unclocked Raspberry Pi 3 and threw some movies and shows on it. Also, I could still stream everything to my chromecast locally without any issues. I checked PlexPy and my transcode score seemed fine, so I knew that wasn’t an issue. In the past, I have could support 4 remote transcodes at once without any issue. The week before Christmas, I notice that Plex is stuttering to the point that it is unusable with any remote connections. I have been using Plex for a couple of years without any issues. Ok, so I apologize for the lengthy post, but I am at my wit’s end.
